Experts agree that early and intensive intervention is a key component to treating the symptoms of Autism and has the greatest impact on a child’s overall developmental trajectory.

Join Akron Children’s Hospital and the University of Utah to see how advanced video technologies, like NET+ Vidyo by IDSolutions, are combining with technologies like Kubi from Revolve Robotics to enable doctors, therapists, and early interventionists to deliver early and intensive therapy for more children with Autism than ever before.

Dr. Aaron Fischer from the University of Utah will present on his research on how videoconferencing can be used as a strategy to conserve school resources and remotely consult with teachers. Specifically, how these tools can be used in evaluating and advancing evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families.

Maggie Collins from the Family Child Learning Center at Akron Children’s Hospital will discuss how she is implementing virtual home visits utilizing advancements in video technology and robotics to provide Early Intervention services to families and children with Autism.
